I have some news…bad, bad news. There is a possible Canada Post strike/lockout beginning July 2, 2016. There hasn’t been much reported in the media so it’s hard to predict how possible it is this will happen. I have decided, for the time being, the shop will remain open so customers can still browse and place an order, if they wish.
In the event of a full labour disruption, Canada Post will not operate. Mail and parcels will not be delivered, and no new items will be accepted. Any mail and parcels within the postal system during a work disruption will be secured and delivered as quickly as possible once operations resume.
Customers who place an order during this period will be contacted and required to select one of the following options:
• Order shipped with the hope a strike/lockout is adverted and shipment does not get “stuck”. Item will then be delivered when Canada Post resumes operations.
• Upgrade to courier service (additional shipping fees apply).
• Order cancelled with a full refund.
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
