When it rains, it pours. My day job has been throwing challenge after challenge my way. I was starting to feel run down and exhausted…physically and mentally. Finally, a case of conjunctivitis put a big wrench in…well…everything. So, even though it’s been pouring, the storm can’t last forever.
Where I live, summers are short and winters last forever. June is the month when you start noticing flowers have bloomed. You can’t help but have a moment of happiness when you see bright, beautiful flowers. It’s been scientifically proven that flowers make you feel less depressed, anxious and agitated. People reported a higher sense of enjoyment and life satisfaction when exposed to flowers. Based on personal experience, I have to agree!
