It’s here! It’s here! It’s finally here! Summer has arrived in Newfoundland! Sunshine, longer days, warm weather, time at the beach, butterflies and nature is in full bloom…there’s nothing better! Well maybe chocolate. Chocolate is pretty freaking great too. 😀
Being an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, Newfoundland has a maritime climate. Summers are typically shorter and cooler with plenty of rainy, grey, foggy days, even during the warmer summer months. The weather changes so often a common local saying is “if you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes”. July usually has the warmest, most summer like weather and beach days are the best. The sun on your skin, toes in the sand, the sound of the Atlantic Ocean waves, the smell of salt water…so relaxing and refreshing.
There was no second thoughts when deciding the theme for the free printable calendar for July. Beaches…sand, sun, and surf.
