Are you ready for August? Need a free printable calendar? This calendar is easy to print, download, and share with others. And it’s free! The photo for August 2023 was taken on one of my many adventures over the years and is most definitely one of my favorites.
To become a butterfly, a caterpillar must undergo a massive transformation! During this process, the caterpillar stays in a cocoon where the cells begin to self-destruct. From the outside, nothing appears to be happening, but inside is a completely different story. It turn into a soupy mixture and rebuilds a new version of itself, emerging as a beautiful, extraordinary butterfly.
This magical transformation is inspiring in many ways. Change can lead to beautiful results, even though it takes time and can be difficult. Sometimes, parts of ourselves can only truly emerge from hard times and we must let go of the old in order to discover the new. It helps us realize that we can find aspects of ourselves…like strength of character, perseverance, growth, patience, adaptation or dedication…from the most challenging times.
