Hello September! Another month, another free printable calendar! This calendar is easy to print, download, and share with others. And who doesn’t love free! The photo for September 2023 was taken a few years ago when we toured the site of the TV mini-series “Random Passage”.
As we make our way though life, we tend to forget about many decisions, promises, mistakes and other meaningful things…or they get pushed to the back burner. Keeping a journal or writing letters to yourself can be very therapeutic. Writing is very different from thinking or talking. It’s a slower process that allows you to engage your emotions as you bring together your thoughts and think through the events of your day. It’s especially cathartic because it allows you to share how you truly feel about someone or a situation without any inhibitions.
Your journals and letters are like time-machines. Years pass and, the moment you read them, you are taken back into that past reality. You are suddenly that young, happy, silly, and very real past version of YOU and you will see how much you have changed since that time. Whether it makes you laugh or cry, it will definitely be a invaluable experience. Most importantly, it enables you to engage in self-reflection and make changes to create a life you love.
